Bear Sightings: Four Haikus

I.
Look, a bear!
Mark says,
and keeps driving.

II.

a lone cub wanders in reeds,
grazing the shoreline.

III.

after dinner, just to see
brown ears in tall weeds.

IV.

the bushes shake. In twilight,
the sound of ripping grass.
